Kombucha (fermented tea).


The whitish things in the jars are the "mothers" or SCOBY, which stands for Symbiotic Culture Of Bacteria and Yeast, that causes the sweetened tea to ferment and transform into an excellent drink called Kombucha, popular in Russia.
